Chinese Herbal Medicine has been practised in the East for over 2000 years. Traditionally, prescriptions contain between 3 and 16 herbs which are boiled for about 40 minutes and then drunk. Nowadays, they are often taken as powders or pills. Circumcision Clinic for Non-therapeutic Reasons
We provide circumcision procedure and care for babies, infants and children that sets the standard. The Circumcision Clinic is offering circumcisions for religious and cultural reasons – nontherapeutic reasons with plastibell and traditional method.
We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to provide surgical procedures. All of our doctors and health care assistants are qualified, highly experienced and certified to ensure that we provide all the clients with the highest level of professional care.
Shall the need arises, the doctor can review the baby at home in earliest possible opportunity.
The lead clinician at Circumcision Clinic is a paediatric specialist Dr Muhammad who is fully trained and experienced in UK to carry out the circumcision with both traditional and plastibell technique.
Dr Muhammad has been fully trained by resuscitation council UK for advanced neonatal and paediatric life support courses.
We are offering the procedure with plastibell method and our modified and innovated traditional technique. Choice is yours – but we believe our modified traditional technique has advantages over plastibell technique. With plastibell or similar methods, it takes upto 14 days for the wound to heal and final cosmetic appearance may take upto 8 weeks to achieve. With our modified traditional technique, average healing time is from 3-5 days only. There is gross and usually upto 3 times more swelling and redness in plastibell technique as compared to the other method. Another downside of plastibell or similar methods is, in any case the bleeding happens after the procedure, the procedure has to be converted to the traditional method anyway – for this ideally you should take the baby to the hospital. In our traditional technique if bleeding happens after the procedure, this can be stopped with various methods without any changes to circumcision in itself.
We advise you to call and discuss this further. You can choose between the two methods.
Feel free to visit us or ask any questions before booking with us for the procedure.
